A rare, highly collectible brass Cheshire Cat bottle stopper. The design was also produced as a corkscrew which can often be found, but the bottle stoppers are incredibly scarce to come by. Alice in Wonderland was written in 1865 by Lewis Carroll, featuring many well known and loved characters; the Cheshire Cat being one of them. Measuring 11cm high including the cork.
